The Digital Tech Ops Ecosystem strengthens Middle East presence with new Dubai office

Bringing the Digital Tech Ops Ecosystem closer to customers in the Middle East

The Digital Tech Ops Ecosystem (DTOE) continues to expand its global presence with the opening of a new office in Dubai, UAE, serving the broader Ecosystem presence in the region and support our joint market approach across AMOS, AVIATAR and flydocs. This strategic step reflects a long-term commitment to one of the most dynamic aviation markets worldwide. Our new office, located in Dubai, UAE, will further allow us to strengthen our closeness to customers and partners across the region.

With a strong and steadily growing customer base in the Middle East, we are proud to be a recognised market leader in the region. Establishing a local presence enables us to deepen our relationships, provide even more responsive support, and better address regional market requirements.

Positioning for Growth in the Middle East: Dubai as a Key Hub

The Middle East represents one of the most important aviation hubs globally, with a high concentration of airlines, MRO providers, and rapidly expanding fleets. The DTOE already supports a large number of customers in the region. Opening a local office in Dubai is a natural next step to sustain and grow this success. Dubai, in particular, offers an ideal location as a major global aviation hub with excellent connectivity to key markets and customers across the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia. Its close proximity to India, where multiple flydocs offices are situated, further strengthens Dubai’s role as a strategic base, enabling closer access to customers across both regions.

Beyond reinforcing our core MRO software business, we see significant potential for expansion into additional segments, such as engine maintenance and related services. Dubai has positioned itself as a central hub for engine maintenance, repair, and overhaul, supported by a dense ecosystem of engine expertise, high operational volumes, and ongoing innovation. The new office will serve as a platform to support these initiatives and to further strengthen our role as a trusted partner across the entire MRO value chain. Major engine MRO providers and independent shops operate in Dubai and the surrounding region, creating an environment where engine maintenance is a core part of daily operations.

With this expansion, we reaffirm our confidence in the Middle East aviation market and our commitment to supporting customers with local expertise, strong partnerships, and innovative solutions.

A comprehensive coverage of the digital Tech Ops value stream

AMOS, AVIATAR, and flydocs are the core solutions of the Digital Tech Ops Ecosystem, which was established in early 2023. Each partner provides specialised digital products and services that complement one another while remaining independent companies.

Together, the Digital Tech Ops Ecosystem delivers comprehensive coverage of the digital Tech Ops value stream—an offering that is unique in the aviation industry. Under the umbrella of Lufthansa Technik, the ecosystem partners enable airlines and other customers to digitalise and optimise their technical operations across the entire maintenance lifecycle.
