flydocs, the leading asset management solution provider for the aviation industry, today announced that it will debut its Component Management software at MRO Americas, the largest aviation MRO event in the world.
The new solution will provide buyers and sellers in commercial, OEM, MRO and trader aviation segments with an enhanced platform to procure, sell, and lease parts up to 50% faster backed by a digital trace. Moreover, the solution is powered by frontier technologies such as AI, machine learning and blockchain to drive automation, boost security and accelerate the speed of aircraft component sales and transfers.
Mark Bunting, Product Director Component Solutions and AI at flydocs commented:
“Before we started developing this solution, we sought feedback from key players in the aerospace parts and repair purchasing community to really capture their key challenges and needs. What we found was a huge appetite for a solution that can optimise the sales process whilst providing accurate and structured component documentation that can seamlessly be transferred to potential buyers. We had the privilege of partnering with Honeywell on their GoDirect Trade marketplace as well as IATA with the MRO SmartHub, both of which are e-connectors on our platform. We are confident that this new addition will simplify and streamline the sales process of components and parts.”
Commenting on the upcoming launch, flydocs CEO André Fischer also added:
“We are all very excited to showcase this new product which will transform how parts and components are traded within the global aviation community. Two years ago we became a founding member of the MRO Blockchain Alliance with key industry stakeholders like SITA. With the alliance partners, we are spearheading frontier technologies like blockchain, artificial intelligence and machine learning to trace, track and record aircraft parts. Partnerships and collaborations are a core ethos of ours, and this time they helped us introduce unprecedented innovation and software expertise in developing this solution. I believe that this latest addition to our product portfolio will enable us to strengthen our position in facilitating commercial aviation asset transactions, ultimately bringing flydocs at the forefront of aerospace marketplace technology solutions.”
The flydocs team will be exhibiting at MRO Americas, taking place at the Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center Dallas, USA on 26 – 28 April. Delegates attending the show will be able to get a first look at the Component Management software by visiting the team on Booth #6820.
