flydocs named on Newsweek’s UK Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces 2022 list
flydocs ranked #47 among 100 UK companies recognised for employee sentiment and satisfaction
Press Release
Staffordshire, UK – 21 December 2022
Newsweek recently announced its first annual rankings for the UK’s Top 100 Most Loved Workplaces® list, and flydocs, the leading asset management solution provider for the aviation industry, was ranked at 47. The 2022 list was compiled in collaboration with the Best Practice Institute (BPI), a leadership development and benchmark research company.
Delighted with the announcement, Joretha Augostine, Chief People Officer at flydocs said;
It is a great honour and privilege to be listed in Newsweek’s top UK’s Most Loved Workplaces for 2022 alongside other well-renowned companies. This prestigious recognition is extremely meaningful in demonstrating our vision, partnership ethos, and values at flydocs. To be chosen as an organisation where people understand and value that we rely on their feedback, and they rely on continuous coaching to strengthen our relationship is exciting. It is this partnership that continues to shape our hybrid working practices, deliver a strong sense of well-being, inspired our Leadership Launchpad programme and shape career development and learning for our employees. I am sincerely appreciative of the commitment and collective efforts shown by all our employees, as that brings us a step closer to being the People Partner of Choice.
The results were determined after surveying more than 1.4 million employees from businesses with workforces varying in size from 50 to more than 10,000. The list recognises companies that put respect, care, and appreciation for their employees at the centre of their business model and, in doing so, have earned the loyalty and respect of the people who work for them. The five critical areas that were measured to gauge employee sentiment:
- How positive workers feel about their future at the company
- Career achievement
- How much employer values align with employee values
- Respect at all levels
- Level of collaboration at the firm
In addition, areas such as inclusion, diversity, equity and belonging, and company response and adaptability to the COVID-19 pandemic, such as return-to-office rules, were identified and analysed. Companies were evaluated and scored:
- 35% based on employee survey responses
- 25% derived from analysis of external public ratings
- 40% from direct interviews and written responses from company officials.
Nancy Cooper, Global Editor in Chief, Newsweek said;
As a result of ‘The Great Resignation,’ more companies recognise the importance of focusing on employee satisfaction to not only attract but retain top talent. The businesses on this year’s list clearly demonstrated that commitment.
Louis Carter, CEO, Best Practice Institute and Most Loved Workplace Founder said;
The companies on this list represent the best at placing love at the centre of their employee’s experience. The number of applications this year and analysis of survey data reinforces our original findings that love is the strongest predictor of the strength of a company’s culture, employee engagement, and satisfaction.
