flydocs CEO to Deliver Blockchain Keynote at Aircraft Commerce
André Fischer, CEO of flydocs, has been confirmed as a keynote speaker at the Aircraft Commerce Virtual Conference & Expo, which will take place on 16-20 November online.
On the first day of the conference at 8.00 am (GMT), MRO Blockchain Alliance members, Sean Melia (SITA), Jennifer Torlone (Willis Lease Finance), Lorcan Law (HAECO) alongside André Fischer will deliver a keynote on:“ The Use of Blockchain to Support MRO, relating mainly to Supply Chain”
Speaking about the session, André said: “Every single entity in the MRO Blockchain Alliance has played an important role in ensuring that as members of the alliance, we represent a cross-section of our industry. At flydocs, we recognise the value in being a true collaborative partner to our peers and it’s exciting to be delivering some of the insights from this historic initiative.”
The keynote session will present the key learnings and developments of the first two proof-of-concepts of securely lifetime tracking and supporting the change of ownership of aircraft components by utilising blockchain technology. Both projects which were first successfully delivered in July 2020 have the potential to jointly become the aviation industry’s first fully digital change of ownership solution covering all major stakeholders along an asset lifetime.
The MRO Blockchain Alliance which was officially launched in February by its founding members Bolloré Logistics, Cathay Pacific, flydocs, HAECO Group, Ramco Systems, SITA, one unnamed OEM and Willis Lease Finance Corporation, continues to make strides towards accomplishing its long-term goals. This keynote promises to offer a deeper dive into the results of the initial outputs of this collaboration by various stakeholders across the aviation industry.
flydocs will also be showcasing its digital solutions throughout the conference and expo on Stand #S10.
Delegates visiting the flydocs virtual stand can expect to get support on how to:
- take the risk out of aircraft leasing and financial management
- easily manage day-to-day aircraft records and compliance requirements
- quickly demonstrate fleet airworthiness with automated document builds
- streamline processes to deliver significant time and cost efficiencies
